Thailand Medical Tourism for the Americans, Europeans, Australians, English, New Zealanders...

Medical tourism for the Americans, Europeans, Australians, English and New Zealanders is becoming the healthcare option of choice. Bad service and high costs is sending hundreds of thousands of people to Thailand! At the Basic Care level, our services are completely free of charge! We have referral contracts with a range of premium-care local hospitals, clinics and health service providers - they pay us a modest commission for clients we refer to them.

This is similar to the mortgage brokers who receive modest commissions from the many banks they works with. In the same way, our services are funded by the hospitals with whom we have referral agreements.

This means you get to take advantage of our extensive local knowledge and advice - and this is provided to you at no cost over and above your required medical procedure! You get the benefit of our advice, and the hospital that you choose for your procedures pays for our assistance in putting your healthcare package together. Its a very practical solution, and everybody wins!

So why would you NOT take the opportunity of free, independent healthcare consultancy? J

Things Every Medical Tourist Should Consider

Each year, millions travel abroad for healthcare. With personal choice, however, comes responsibility. Here's what every prospective patient should know before going overseas for treatment.

1. Find out from a qualified medical professional if you are fit to travel overseas with your medical condition.

2. Make sure the hospital you select is licensed and preferably accredited by a recognized international organization that audits medical quality.

3. Check the credentials and experience of the doctor who will treat you.

4. Decisions on treatment can be made only after you meet with your doctor. It is unrealistic to expect that any doctor can guarantee treatment or surgery without first examining you to determine the appropriate approach. In most cases, patients do get the procedure they travel overseas for. But it is possible that your doctor, upon examining you, may decide you are not fit for surgery, or recommends treatment different from what you planned.

5. Any complaints about your treatment will be resolved in the country where you are treated, according to its laws and procedures. Take local advice - choose wisely!
